Welcome!

We’re so glad you’ve found South Shore Digital Wellness. Our parent volunteers are currently giving our website a refresh—thanks for your patience as we put the finishing touches on new ways to share resources, events, and updates with you. Feel free to explore what’s here, and check back soon for more ways to connect, play, and thrive with our community!

Check out this clip of Peter Gray, PhD during his talk on “Raising Resilient, Happy Children” from our latest Digital Wellness Speaker Series event.

Dr. Gray is Research Professor of Psychology at Boston College, author of a longstanding introductory psychology textbook now in its 8th edition, and a founder of Let Grow, a nonprofit promoting childhood independence. He is a world-renowned authority on the role of play in human evolution and, for more than half a century, he has studied the importance of young people’s self-directed activity for mental wellbeing.
